Free picks on Saturday’s action will be playing on the St Mary’s Gaels +4 1/2 points against the Villanova Wildcats from the second round of the NCAA Tournament. They tip off this game from the Dunkin Donuts Center in providence Rhode Island at 1PM Eastern Time and you can watch it on CBS.
St Mary’s have got their inside game going with Omar Samhan getting the easy buckets underneath. The Gaels have strung quality back to back wins against Gonzaga and Richmond by margin. The Gaels have shot well at about 50% in those two contests. Villanova is not playing their best basketball right now as they have lost 5 of 8 and survived as scare from Robert Morris in the first round. The Wildcats could only hit on 35.3% of their shots against the Colonials. Take the points.

Usually in most sporting events, there is a competitor who is the favorite or that is favored to win, and the underdog who is favored to lose. The linemaker will draw up an odds line which the gambler can bet on the probability of a competitor’s win. This helps wagering more even across the board. The more likely the event will occur, the more the odds decrease. The less that it is likely to happen the greater the odds are. The possible amount of money you will receive is reflected in the odds.
American bookmakers prefer to use moneyline odds which why some people call them American odds. With this format, the odds are quoted using either a positive or a negative number. Negative numbers indicate favorites, while the odds will list the amount of money you must risk to garner one hundred dollars. The underdog will be represented by a postive number, while the odds will show you how much you’re going to win if you had wagered $100. When the odds are listed as EVEN, you’ll win exactly what you wager. A standard line, where the odds are -110 for both teams, indicates that neither team is favored to win.

College Football Betting
In order for wagers to have action it is not necessary for soccer games to be a full regulation game. Games are official for wagering purposes after 40 minutes of the second half have been completed.
Three conclusions to a Moneyline wager are picking either team to win or pick a draw. If the game ends in a tied score and you chose not to select a draw, your wager will be lost.
The score at the end of regulation play, that is unless we have specified something different 90 minutes plus injury time will be utilized for gambling. Results from extra time, golden goals, or penalty shootouts are not included.

Games that aren’t on the regular Vegas rotation are added games. Generally this involves the smaller schools, since they are harder to get information on they are added later. Added games are circled to fill in the lack of information. Therefore, they will have lower maximum wagers, and they cannot be used as part of a parlay or a teaser..
Like the normal Las Vegas rotation the odds that are quoted at the time you place your bet will be the odds that will be used to settle your bets regardless if any line changes.

A baseball game does not have to be completed for bets to be valid. The following guidelines are used to settle wagers: a moneyline wager will be official after five full innings. 4.5 innings if the home team is winning.
All runline and total wagers become official when nine innings have been completed. (Eight and a half innings in case the home team wins). A game that is stopped prior to completion of 9 innings played will result in Total and Runline bets settling as No Action. If a game is NOT finished and runs for more than eight innings (i.e. stopped, rain delay, or lack of light) Runline and Total still have action and will be settled according to rule 3 below.
In case a baseball game goes at least nine innings while NOT being finished (i.e. stopped, rain delay, or lack of light)action will still be occurring on wagers of the runtime and total.
Should the game be suspended for any reason, the score from the last competed inning will settle all bets.
In that case score at the time of suspension will be used to settle all wagers.
Any bets placed on games that are suspended or postponed do not carry over to the rescheduled time.

When you make a money line wager you are betting on the winner of the event, without considering the points. Instead of handicapping with head starts, competitors are given odds to win the event.
Now having a look at this example, the San Francisco 49’ers playing the Kansas City Chiefs in the NFL. Here’s what the odds look like:
49′ers -150
Chiefs +130
If you risk $150 on the 49′ers, you could win $100 (or another type of variation; for example $75 to win $50 or $300 to win $200). Your $100 bet will bring you $130 when you put money on the Chiefs. When a game ends in a tie, any wager will be considered a “Push”, and any action will be returned.
