If the line is “circled” it is subject to reduced betting limits,thats the red box you see on a sportsbook screens means. A line can be circled when factors besides the game play are considered (example: being hurt or weather conditions) The outcome of the game could affect. Most bookmakers don’t have enough information about the games and cannot sufficiently balance the action as it arrives, circled lines cannot be added to a parlay. For most sportsbook businesses their model involves trades to balance and protect the bottom line. For many sportsbooks it is important to have their lines un-circled. The red box is usually removed just prior to the start of the game.
