Generally, the point spread is the factor (it’s called a runline in the game of baseball) is a handicap is a head start that is given to the underdog by the linesmaker in order to even the odds somewhat. Your winnings are determined by the money line odds that are part of the point spread. When there are no odds stated, then the line is determined to be standard (for example: minus one ten).
